01 — Custom Design Process for the Abstract Sitting Female Sculpture

The main approach in the design phase of the project was to transform the female figure into a simpler, more fluid, and abstract form, rather than directly replicating it realistically. While the fundamental character of a sitting woman's posture was preserved, a design language stripped of unnecessary details was preferred. In the production phase of the design, fiberglass was chosen as the main material. After the design drawing, the sculpture's manufacturing process was completed, and the surface was prepared for coloring application.

For the surface application, which constitutes the final appearance of the sculpture, acrylic automotive paint on fiberglass was used. The perception created by light from different angles on abstract surfaces makes the effect of the paint application on the sculpture's overall appearance more pronounced.
