Project Overview

The Ballerina Sculpture Project, realized for Günaydın Et Restaurants in Baku, was specifically developed to create a strong visual focal point within the restaurant. In the project undertaken by Evista Design Studio, the aim was for the elegant and dynamic form of the ballerina, conveying a sense of movement, to be in harmony with the overall atmosphere of the venue.

Fiberglass material was used in the production of the sculpture, while the final surface treatment involved coloring with special acrylic automotive paint. This approach contributed to a more distinct perception of the sculpture's curved surfaces and silhouette in conjunction with the lighting within the space.

Positioned in the central and prominent part of the restaurant, the Ballerina was designed not merely as a classic decorative object, but as a specially produced art object that supports the visual identity of the space. The project is one of the unique examples of Evista Design Studio's approach to designing and producing sculptures specifically for commercial spaces.

In the production of the Ballerina sculpture, fiberglass material was chosen to allow for the application of the figure's organic and fluid form. The curves conveying the sense of movement and the figurative structure of the sculpture were shaped during the production process while preserving the overall character of the design.

Following production, the surface was colored with a custom acrylic automotive paint application. This final surface treatment helped in a stronger perception of the figure's form transitions and light-catching surfaces, while also giving the sculpture a modern and striking character.
